Terms of Service

Last updated: August 6, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SpeakWiser. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of terms

If you do not agree to these terms, do not use SpeakWiser. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

Account responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for activity that occurs under it. Provide accurate information and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Permitted use

Use SpeakWiser only for lawful personal or professional learning purposes. Do not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse engineer it except where permitted by law, scrape content at scale, misuse AI features, or access another user’s account without permission.

Subscription and payment

Some features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Prices, included features, and billing intervals will be shown before you confirm a purchase.

Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Taxes may apply. Failure to pay may result in loss of paid features.

Cancellation

You may cancel a subscription according to the cancellation options available in your account or through the payment provider’s customer portal when offered. Cancellation typically stops future renewals; charges already processed are generally non-refundable unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise at purchase.

Intellectual property

SpeakWiser and its content, branding, software, and learning materials are owned by SpeakWiser or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your own learning. You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit our content without permission.

Educational information disclaimer

SpeakWiser provides educational information and practice tools. Content and AI feedback are not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other regulated advice. You remain responsible for how you apply what you learn in real conversations and workplaces.

Service availability

We aim to keep SpeakWiser available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, and temporary outages or maintenance may occur.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpeakWiser and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (US$50).

Termination

You may stop using SpeakWiser at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
